OST files are Microsoft’s offline storage folders used to save users’ information and email data when they are not connected to the internet. An OST file contains a copy of the mailbox data that is currently stored on the Exchange server. When you save your offline files as OST files, you can access them even if you are not connected to the Exchange server. A major advantage of using an OST file is that it does not cause any changes to the original data while copying the original data from an Exchange server; OST files are a simple way to keep your data and access it even when you are not connected to an Exchange server. As previously said, I have provided three methods to repair corrupt OST files, which I have listed below:
- Scanost.exe
- Scanpst.exe
- Professional OST Repair tool
