Difference between OST and PST file format:-

OST file format is an offline folder file in Microsoft Outlook. Offline folders allow users to work offline and then synchronies their changes with the Exchange server when they connect again. With limited or unreliable connectivity, the ability to work offline is useful in environment. Besides from this, another type of file in Outlook is the PST file which is stored on the client or server other then the Exchange server.
